HCMC real estate strong growth and continue draw investment
HCM City's real estate market continue to grow strongly besides Bank capital, Foreign capital and Overseas. However, real estate market still has a large amount of other capital draw to investment into new projects.
The stock market has become a new channel to mobilize new capital for real estate market. Many property enterprises have been listed on the stock market, such as Vingroup, FLC, Novaland, Nam Long, Khang Dien, Dat Xanh. Another channel to mobilize capital for real estate market is FDI.
The most prominent investment transactions in the first quarter of 2017 were from Vincom Retail, Novaland, Dragon Capital and Quoc Loc Phat. Specifically, Vincom Retail is supported by Warburg Pincus, Shinhan partnered with Vinacapital to invest $ 100 million in Novaland.
Keppel Land acquired a 20% stake of Quoc Loc Phat – the developer of Song Viet complex in Thu Thiem (District 2). According to Song Chau (SCBI), real estate funds has strengthened their investment activities in early 2015 to 2020.
